Jenny and Sue joined Maldwyn Quilters about six years ago as quilting novices. They very quickly became addicted and as new skills were learnt they grew in confidence and began to experiment with new designs and fabrics.
‘We love finding new fabrics, upcycling old fabrics and mixing and matching the colours. We make some large quilts but mostly enjoy making smaller items such as bags, cushions, place mats, book covers and all sorts of fabric items. Sometimes our designs are the same but our different fabric choices means that each item made is completely unique. We do take some commissions for specific requests of design or colour.’
